Orchids Roy
Founder & Certified Etiquette & Protocol Trainer, Dubai
With over 15 years of experience in the field of Learning and Development, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most prestigious names in the aviation and luxury sectors. My journey began as a corporate trainer with one of the world’s best airlines, where I honed my skills in delivering top-notch training programs. This experience paved the way for my role as a Learning and Development Manager for a luxurious private jet operator in the UAE, where I spent over a decade helping shape the standards of excellence in the industry.
My expertise extends beyond aviation, having delivered impactful training across various sectors including hospitals, wellness centers, real estate, and hotels. My approach to training is grounded in a deep understanding of industry-specific needs, ensuring that every session is not only informative but also engaging and practical.
I’m passionate about helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential, and I take pride in creating learning experiences that are both effective and enjoyable.

Nathalie Ward
Certified Hospitality Trainer by the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland
I spent 21 years with Emirates in the leadership and development team, where I had the privilege of training the next generation of industry leaders. My work focused on hospitality and etiquette for a wide range of travellers, including royals and foreign dignitaries, always with a strong awareness of cultural nuances.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mother to a wonderful son. I enjoy prioritising his growth and development while also making time for my own passions—cooking healthy, nutritious meals and staying active through the gym and wakeboarding.
I chose to join Etiquette For Everyone because I believe etiquette is a timeless skill that too often gets overlooked in today’s fast-paced world. Many people aspire to learn it but don’t always have the opportunity, and I’m excited to help make it more accessible and meaningful for others.

Yoshiko Baba
Certified Hospitality Trainer by the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland
My journey began at the University of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, where I majored in Medieval English Literature. From there, I pursued interpreting, which led me to a career as an Executive Secretary and later to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My dream of living abroad came true with an assignment at the Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle.
Life took another turn when I joined Emirates Airline—a role that became the longest chapter of my professional journey. For 21 years, I had the privilege of serving passengers from all over the world, moving from Economy Class to Purser. Later, as a Hospitality Learning Partner at Emirates Training College, I trained cabin crew in service and hospitality for 13 years.
Through every chapter, one value has remained constant: etiquette. Whether in diplomacy, aviation, or training, etiquette is what connects cultures, creates trust, and turns service into a lasting memory.
Now, as I enjoy life in Dubai with my family and my soon-to-be-10-year-old twin boys, I carry with me the belief that etiquette is not just about rules—it’s about respect, kindness, and making people feel valued.
After a fulfilling 12-year journey as a cabin crew trainer for customer service and image with a leading airline in Dubai, and experiences as a Purser interacting with over 160 nationalities, I found my true calling. My role as a Learning and Development Manager for a luxury private jet operator, serving high net worth individuals, further honed my expertise in etiquette and interpersonal skills. These rich professional experiences inspired me to establish my own etiquette coaching business. I chose to focus on children alongside adults, believing strongly in the lifelong impact of instilling good manners and etiquette from a young age. My mission is to empower the next generation with the grace and confidence needed to thrive in any social setting.

Welcome to my world, where etiquette isn’t just about forks and knives; it’s about confidence, respect, and a touch of worldly charm. My roots are as diverse as my experiences – a blend of Chinese and Filipino heritage, and I’ve built a life with my British husband. A real cultural cocktail, you could say!
Travel is my heartbeat. I’ve wandered through 93 countries, each adding a layer to my understanding of people and cultures. For me, travel is more than sightseeing; it’s about immersing in local lives, savoring a smorgasbord of flavors, and discovering the off-the-beaten-path treasures that tell the real stories of a place.
My journey to becoming an etiquette coach started at 30,000 feet – as a flight attendant. Those 12 years weren’t just about serving meals; they were my classroom for mastering customer service, cultural nuances, and the art of making everyone feel valued. It was there, cruising above the clouds, that I grasped the true essence of manners and empathy.
I’m all about empowering the younger generation. I believe that understanding how to carry yourself and treat others is foundational to growing up with confidence and kindness. And let’s not forget the power of observation – it’s amazing what you can learn about communication just by watching.
I am committed to sharing knowledge, understanding that the real reward lies in spreading the wisdom I’ve gathered over the years.
But let’s be clear – I’m no infallible guru. I face my share of struggles and doubts, just like anyone else. Yet, I promise to always bring the best of my knowledge and experience to you, keeping it authentic and real.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. I hope this is just the start of a beautiful journey together. I’m eager to learn more about you. The best way to share that and stay connected? Become one of our EFE Insiders. Just sign up below with your name and email.
